The other is something from the beginning of the year, a music video for “Fickle” by Ohai. I completed most of the animation for this (working from some excellent designs by my friend Amy — check out her site, it’s full of good things) as well as the motion tracking and compositing:

Toy Story 3: Lee Unkrich interview

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Film School Rejects has an interesting interview with Lee Unkrich. He seems to have a very pragmatic and mature view regarding sequels, and reading his thoughts makes me all the more excited for where they might go next, or where they might return to. I love that Pixar has a wonderful sense of self awareness about their films. And as with the other Pixar directors I could listen to/read what he has to say forever. It’s early, I know, but I’m already anticipating Lee Unkrich’s next film.
